Description
The Ag9205 is a PoE module designed for higher efficiency than standard Silvertel IEEE802.3AF Single-in-Line (SIL) products. The module extracts power from a conventional twisted pair Category 5 Ethernet cable, conforming to the IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) standard. This is a total solution, including a 1.5kV isolation barrier between the input and output. The Ag9205S has been specifically designed to give more power at 5V output voltage than standard Ag9705 series parts.

Ag9205 SIL Evaluation Board
This is Silvertel’s standard low power IEEE802.3af PD module evaluation board, for testing and evaluation of Silvertel PoE PD modules. It is designed to work with Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) that supplies power over either the spare pair or the data pair. Silvertel’s Ag6130 and Ag6120 are compatible PSE modules. It is suitable for use with the following products – Ag9205, and Ag9700 Module Series. Please use the links provided to order boards or download the User Manual.
When ordering this evaluation board online using the links provided the module is not included so please ensure a separate module is also ordered. Alternatively, please contact Silvertel at sales@silvertel.com with your requirement and we will arrange this for you.
