Description
The Ag9700 series of PoE modules are designed to extract power from a conventional twisted pair Category 5 Ethernet cable, conforming to the IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) standard. The Ag9700 is a complete cost reduced solution, with an optimised DC-DC converter making it both reliable and competitive with POE IC based alternatives for medium to high volume applications. The module is very easy to use, requiring minimal external components and provides isolation between the input and output compliant with IEEE802.3af. The Ag9700 series is available in 12V, 5V, 3V and 24V options to suit a wide range of applications. An industrial temperature POE module (FL) is also available for operation between -40°DegC to +85°DegC. The modules in the Ag9700 series are the recommended replacements for the Ag9000, Ag9400 and Ag9600 series. Please contact Silvertel for more details.

Ag9700 SIL Evaluation Board
This is Silvertels standard low power IEEE802.3af PD module evaluation board, for testing and evaluation of Silvertel PD POE modules. It is designed to work with Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) that supplies power over either the spare pair or the data pair. Ag6100 and Ag6400 are compatible PSE modules. It is suitable for use with the following products – Ag90xx, Ag9120, Ag92xx, Ag94xx, Ag96xx and Ag97xx. Please use the links provided to order boards or download the User Manual.
When ordering this evaluation board online from the links bellow the module is not included please ensure a separate module is also ordered. From Silvertel and over distribution partners evaluation Boards are supplied pre-loaded with a sample module. Please ensure that you specify which variant you wish populated into the Eval board on request or ideally on your PO.
